Steve Hlavac is a Naperville native, graduate of Naperville North High School and North Central College, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a public speaker. In 2012, he founded Beyond Measure Fitness Training, which he now co-owns with his wife, Kate. Together, they serve adults 40+ by helping them build strength, confidence, and a healthier relationship with fitness in a supportive, non-intimidating environment.

Under Steve’s leadership, Beyond Measure Fitness has been recognized with honors such as Best of Naperville and the Quality Business Award, recognition he attributes to the strong, community-driven culture the gym has built. His approach to fitness extends beyond physical results, emphasizing mental and emotional well-being and empowering individuals to show up more fully in their daily lives.

As a speaker, Steve presents at conferences, businesses, and community events, including the Kindness Conference for ALGV, where he delivers workshops on goal setting, personal growth, and sustainable high performance. His message centers on helping individuals define success for themselves, stay present in the process, and build the physical and mental capacity to support a meaningful life.

Outside of the gym, Steve is a dedicated husband and father who values growth, presence, and leading by example. Through his work and his family life, he is committed to helping others become the strongest, most capable version of themselves, both inside and outside the gym.

The Naperville Area Humane Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit limited admission animal shelter for dog and cat adoption, foster care, and owner surrenders serving the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.

Throughout my years in construction, I have learned a wide variety of skills from day to day life being a woman in the industry. I have valued my time in construction, I look forward to keep growing in the industry and as an all around professional.
