The Small Business Owners Committee announces the Business Owner Success Series (BOSS) of workshops. The series kicks off with a workshop on leadership for the small business owner. Leadership starts with the founder and owner of any small business. In this engaging workshop participants will learn key foundational principles of leadership and will come away with renewed focus and awareness how to lead in their various interest groups – community, customers and employees. Leading in Times of Change 

The first workshop of BOSS (Business Owner Success Series) is brought to you by the Small Business Owner Committee, Naperville Chamber of Commerce. It incorporates evidenced based content, engages participants with purposeful interaction and provides practical take-aways that can be used in the workplace (and at home) immediately. Our world is transitioning to a virtual platform to deliver content. The speaker will maximize the virtual environment to inspire participants to minimize “multi-tasking” in the learning environment.

  • Discuss ways to identify and flex your leadership preferences to meet the needs of your people and business.
  • Learn the key success factors to leading self, customers, vendors and team during times of significant change.
  • Explore strategies to keep yourself and the team focused and engaged when it’s hard.


Speaker:

Laticia (Tish) Thompson is the Founder and Chief Legacy Partner of Legacy Blueprint, LLC. Tish’s firm specializes in serving as physicians for organizations; determining what’s ailing an organization and working together to remedy it utilizing a variety of solutions. Tish holds a Master of Science degree in Management and Organization Behavior with concentrations in Human Resources and Organization Development. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Business Psychology. Tish has over 14 years of experience in supporting non-profit, manufacturing, higher education and healthcare organizations build an organizational culture that drives business outcomes.
