A timely overview of recent federal legislation in response to COVID-19 for small business owners. The FFCRA and CARES Act both take some of the sting out of the tough decisions employers are faced with when social distancing and stay at home orders impact their businesses. Learn the basics about furloughs, enhanced unemployment benefits, paid sick leave and expanded and paid FMLA leave for certain COVID-19 circumstances.
