Speaker Bio

Sharnell Weathersby has been a leading marketer and brand strategist for over 10 years working with corporate and small business brands. She is the Founder/CEO of SOMEI a brand consulting agency helping ambitious women owners to brand, market, and innovate their product-based companies. She led brand strategy and marketing plans for several corporate product portfolios. She leverages this experience in her consultancy to provide owners and entrepreneurs with the strategic direction needed to brand and market their companies, while at the same time gaining authority and building authentic relationships with customers.


Sharnell is a coach at The Hatchery Chicago for early-stage entrepreneurs and has been recognized as a Top 100 Executive and Emerging Leader by DiversityMBA. She enjoys mentoring area youth and serving in the community. Sharnell is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and holds an MBA from Eastern University in Pennsylvania. She is a wife of 15 years and mother of two.
