Congressman Sean Casten represents Illinois’ 6th Congressional District, located in western suburbs of Chicago, including Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Elgin, and Barrington. Rep. Casten serves on the House Financial Services, Science, Space, and Technology, and Select Climate Crisis Committees, and is a Co-Chair on the New Dems Climate Change Task Force. Rep. Casten earned a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Middlebury College in 1993, and Master of Engineering Management and a Master of Science in Biochemical Engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. Rep. Casten worked as a clean energy consultant and manager at Arthur D. Little from 1997 to 2000. He then served as the president and CEO of Turbosteam Corporation. In 2006, Casten co-founded Recycled Energy Development (RED), who built, owned, and operated industrially-sited waste energy recovery plants throughout North America.


Congressman Bill Foster is a scientist and businessman representing the 11th Congressional District of Illinois since 2013. He serves on the House Financial Services Committee and he is the chairman of the Investigations and Oversight Subcommittee of the House Science and Technology Committee. Before serving in Congress, he spent over two decades as a high-energy particle physicist at Fermilab. He was recently appointed to the House Select Committee on the Coronavirus Crisis.


Robert (Bo) Steiner serves as District Director for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Illinois District Office. Steiner leads a team of small business experts focused on strengthening the entrepreneurial and small business ecosystem through SBA’s portfolio of small business programs. Prior to his federal service, Mr. Steiner spent eight years in the private sector, with roles in executive management, sales, and marketing. Mr. Steiner began his career in the U.S. Navy serving as a commissioned officer and Naval Aviator.
