Fall at Keller’s Farmstand Brings Apple Picking, Fall Festivities, Pumpkins, Apple Cider Donuts and More to Oswego

OSWEGO, Ill. — September 2026 — Fall has arrived at Keller’s Farmstand, bringing a full season of family traditions to the farm in Oswego. From picking apples and pumpkins to exploring corn mazes, enjoying fresh apple cider donuts and participating in the Community Coffee Crawl, visitors can experience many of the flavors and activities of fall in one trip to the farm.

Pick Your Own Apples at the Oswego Apple Orchard

Apple season is underway at the Keller’s Oswego Apple Orchard, where more than 30 apple varieties ripen at different times throughout the season.

Visitors can purchase a picking bag at the Apple Barn and head into designated areas of the orchard to pick apples straight from the trees. Because varieties ripen on Mother Nature’s schedule, what's available changes throughout the season.

Customers looking for a particular apple can sign up for Keller’s Apple Alerts and receive a text when their favorite varieties are ready for picking.

Pre-picked apples are also available at both the Oswego and Naperville Farmstands.

Saturday & Sunday Fall Festivities

Keller’s annual Fall Festivities are happening Saturdays and Sundays through October 25, including Monday, October 12 at the Oswego farm.

Families can take on three mazes, including the 12-acre “The Mad Doctor” Corn Maze, visit farm animals, explore the Big Barn Playhouse, enjoy games and activities, see antique tractors and spend the day outdoors together.

Visitors can also enjoy a free wagon ride through the orchard, making it easy to turn a trip to Keller’s into a full fall day.

Fall Festivities admission is separate from apple picking.

Pick the Perfect Pumpkin 🎃

No fall trip to the farm is complete without a pumpkin.

As pumpkin season gets underway, visitors can head to Keller’s U-Pick Pumpkin Patch to search for the perfect pumpkin to take home. Whether it’s destined to become a jack-o’-lantern, front-porch decoration or part of a fall display, choosing it right from the farm is part of the experience. The pumpkin patch will open at the end of September.

Apple Cider Donuts Are Back 🍎🍩

Another Keller’s fall tradition has returned: Apple Cider Donuts.

Made fresh during the fall season, the donuts have become a customer favorite and a popular stop during a day at the farm. Visitors are encouraged to check availability before making a special trip for donuts, as baking schedules and availability can vary.

Sip Local with the Community Coffee Crawl ☕

Keller’s is also encouraging visitors to explore beyond the farm through its Community Coffee Crawl, happening through October 25.

Participants pick up a Coffee Crawl card and visit eight participating local coffee destinations throughout Oswego, Plainfield, Yorkville, Naperville and Aurora. After making a purchase at each stop and collecting all eight stamps, participants receive a $10 Keller’s Farmstand e-gift card and are entered into a raffle for one of three prize baskets.

The crawl includes Keller’s Coffee Barn at the Oswego Farmstand, giving visitors another way to enjoy their fall day while supporting locally owned businesses throughout the surrounding communities.

A Fall Tradition for the Whole Family

The Keller family has been farming in the Naperville area since 1852, and Keller’s Farmstand has grown from a small roadside vegetable stand started in 1991 into a three-season family farm with locations in Oswego and Naperville.

Fall remains one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year.

Whether families come to pick apples, find a pumpkin, conquer a corn maze, visit the animals, sip a cup of coffee or enjoy an apple cider donut, Keller’s Farmstand offers plenty of ways to make fall memories together.
